A new apartment complex was realized on the prominent premises in the middle of the neo-baroque "Fichtesiedlung" housing blocks (renamed: Hohenzoller Courtyards) from the 1920s.
The elongated three-story building is mirror-symetric to its opposite ensemble. Like its counterpart it consists of a main body with a simplistic shell without any extra adges or recesses. It was built to the energy efficiency KfW 40 standard for houses in Germany.
A special feature will be slanting foil roof construction and the fibre-cement-panel facade to emphasise the building's character.
The construction work began in November 2014.
